IKEA, IKEA e-Shop Launch App

Everyone knows that shopping online is convenient and is becoming mainstream for the majority of consumers on the go.

On the occasion of the upcoming launch of IKEA e-Shop, GT Digital developed a Facebook application, aiming at introducing the new IKEA e-shop to its Facebook fans by giving them something of value, something that they have been wishing for and something to make them want to visit IKEA website.

GT Digital created the competition “Βρες το στην πόρτα σου” or “Find it on your doorsteps”, as part of the IKEA e-shop digital strategy. The promotion invited all IKEA fans and their friends to write their favourite IKEA item they’d like to add to their shopping basket first, for the chance of winning it for free and having it delivered to their doorsteps.

Participants simply enter the name of the product, its code number, along with their name and contact details and they automatically entered the draw.

The Facebook app was supported with a Facebook promoted campaign.

The engagement level was phenomenal which led to:
• increased brand exposure thereby boosting website traffic 
• growth in fan base.
