MTN Cyprus Ltd, Spin & Win by MTN

"Web app through interactive kiosks: Sign a contract and play!"

STRATEGY
MTN Cyprus in collaboration with GT Digital developed a web application offering all new PayMonthly subscribers that sign an 18-month contract, the opportunity to participate in a competition and win prizes. Every person signing the contract won, with the minimum prize being 1 month free subscription.

IMPLEMENTATION
Customers, upon submitting and validating their contract via MTN’s distribution network of 92 outlets including GT Digital's interactive kiosks, they entered automatically the SPIN & WIN competition. Contestants played a “wheel of fortune” to find out what they won. In this case GT Digital created the software and provided the branded hardware for the project.

SCOPE
Through this innovative web application mechanism MTN aimed at converting and acquiring new port in customers. The web application also enabled MTN to collect valuable data as well as a detailed analysis of the performance level of the individual shops, to be used for future promotional activities.
